Page 1 - Purpose - Where did this idea start?
When starting to think about making games, it can often be good to try and implement something simple that's already been done, to gauge whether or not you've got the
skill required in whatever you're using to move onto something bigger and better. A game like Snake always seemed like the perfect choice.

If you came here via the System Design page, you would have seen screenshots of tiled levels, and things exploding or disappearing all over the place. You're probably
wondering how on earth this relates to Snake at all. This concept for this project did indeed start with Snake, but the continual development pushed into something a
whole lot bigger. What I've ended up with doesn't involve a snake, nor does it involve a scoring system, and it doesn't even resemble where the idea started from, but
without starting where I did, I wouldn't be where I am.
